Frontend Developer
Frontend Web Development, Gurgaon (India)
WCS India is seeking a Frontend Developer responsible for updating our user interface to be compliant with WCAG international standards. It is a top corporate priority to make web content on Elentra platforms as accessible as possible for the divergent needs of its users.
In this role you will:
- Retrofit an existing codebase to meet WCAG standards.
- Ensure current best practices and standards are being adhered to throughout all code being written.
- Pair programming with other engineers as needed.
- Use your experience to help other developers be more productive and effective through the code they write and the decisions they make.
Requirements:
- Ability to analyze and decompose problems into potential technical solutions.
- Experience in refactoring/implementing code to meet web standards such as ARIA.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub.
- Proficiency with the LAMP stack and MVC pattern
- Excellent JavaScript knowledge and experience with PHP.
- 3+ years of experience in web frontend development
- 2+ years of experience in the Vue.js framework
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript
- 4+ years of overall professional experience.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
